Foundation Sprint
Every substantial engagement begins with a Foundation Sprint: a short, fixed-fee scoping engagement where we audit your operations, confirm the technical approach, and produce a written build plan with concrete success metrics. You leave with a scope document — not a sales deck — that becomes the basis for whatever comes next.
If the sprint reveals that a custom build isn't the right fit, you've found that out clearly and inexpensively — rather than committing to a longer engagement under uncertain assumptions.

Engagement & Rates
How We Bill
Hourly engagements: $250/hr. Used for advisory, architecture review, and bounded scopes where time is the natural unit.
Project-priced builds: Fixed fee, scoped during the Foundation Sprint. You see the full scope, timeline, and price before anything starts.
Workshops: Half-day or full-day, on Kauaʻi, on-site, or remote. Scoped to your team's actual questions.
Retainers: Monthly engagement for ongoing advisory + capacity. Sized to fit.
LLM and infrastructure costs are pass-through. We bill what the model providers and Cloudflare charge — no markup. Architecture is designed to keep these costs low and scaled to your actual usage, not the size of the system.
